She has been the recipient of a Commonwealth Scholarship award for training in the UK. She has also been conferred FRCOG and FICOG. She is actively involved in many research projects and is a focal point for The WHO Reproductive Health Library. She has been a resource person for innumerable medical education programmes and has contributed chapters in many books and FOGSI publications.
