Alan Henry has been writing for magazines like Lifehacker, The New York Times, and Wired on how to use technology and productivity strategies to work and live better for more than twenty years. But he discovered that, as a Black guy, he was excluded from some of the more effective strategies for getting a job, such as setting out time on your calendar for deep work and only checking your email once per day.
