Not many knew that poet Jay Goswami was a direct descendant of Advaita Acharya, a close adviser of Sri Chaitanyadeva. It was Advaita who brought Sri Chaitanya to Shantipur. On the other hand, Shantipur is the birthplace of Jai Goswami. Now, reaching the age of seventy, the veteran poet's writings have turned towards Bhaktiras.
